A constantly expanding gallery of visual anomalies that I have created over the years. The tools used to compose these chromatic aberrations range from mobile photo editors to creative coding, and computer software. These explorations of texture, form, and color are strongly inspired by the glitch aesthetic, absurdist philosophy, and chaos theory.
This project is all about finding the beauty in “system errors” and “corrupted machines” which is why I like to call them: Computer Dreams. My artistic research focuses on discovering ways to implement this kind of visuals as a medium for storytelling, so I can incorporate them in future interactive narrative projects..
Other Forms
“Other Forms” is the name we use to refer to those beautiful and unknown dimensions where nature and the remnants of human intervention have merged to give rise to new ecosystems, perhaps even new forms of life. Final project for the course “Art, Science, and Technology” at Universidad San Francisco de Quito.
To create this project, photographs from different cantons of Ecuador were collected and later processed with neural networks to expose environmental pollution through the newly generated images.
